FARMERS are being warned to be vigilant as there has recently been a spate of thefts in the Dimboola North East area and further afield.
The most recent theft involved a two stand shearing plant, a boat trailer, wheels from a combine and various other items totalling $3000.
There are many thefts going on in the region at the moment and farmers are being warned to be vigilant of vehicles entering their property, especially scrap metal dealers.
If you see something suspicious, make sure you endeavour to get a vehicle registration and description and the time the incident occurred and report the matter immediately to police.
