“Let's get excited, it is finally here. Footy season is about to begin,” says Dimboola Football and Netball Club president Colin Campbell.

On Saturday the Dimboola Roo's travel to Stawell to kick off their 2016 season and have plenty to look forward to.

New Senior coaches Hamish Exell and Des Anthony have spent the last four months putting their charges through a gruelling pre-season campaign.

Both coaches are confident that the work that all the boys have put in, will hold them in good stead for the season ahead.

“It will be really exciting to see all of our young talented footballers taking on Stawell and showing us what they can do. We have a good mix of youth and experience amongst our group this year with a number of players stepping up from our junior program. Justin Ward is coaching the reserves and will surely get the boys up and going with some of his famous one liners,” Mr Campbell said.
