Dimboola flavour for business expo
Chan Uoy from Dimboola Imaginarium will be among the presenters at this year's Yarriambiack Business Expo.
The free event will be held at Warracknabeal Town Hall on June 25.
Registrations from small rural business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs and community members interested in supporting local businesses are now open.
From 9am to 1pm, Yarriambiack Shire Council and West Vic Business will bring together entrepreneurs, industry experts and community leaders from across the region with the aim of providing rural business owners with the necessary resources, knowledge and connections.
The expo is dedicated to supporting and empowering small rural business owners, allowing attendees to network with peers, potential partners and service providers to create valuable connections that could lead to new business opportunities and collaborations.
"Small rural businesses are the backbone of our local economy," Yarriambiack CEO Tammy Smith said.
Keynote speeches from successful rural entrepreneurs, interactive workshops and panel discussions on topics such as digital marketing, sustainable business practices and securing funding are included in the program.
Speakers and presenters will include Victorian Small Business Commissioner Lynda McAlary-Smith as the keynote speaker, George Liacos from Spark Strategy, Paul Atherton from Donald Mineral Sands, Kamini Kumaran from Telstra and Jacqui James from EA for a Day.
The event will host a trade show with exhibitors showcasing products and services tailored to the needs of rural businesses.
"We believe in the power of community and collaboration, and this event is a testament to that belief," Ms Smith said.
