Mining pathway unfurled
Three proposed mineral mines in the Wimmera Mallee are among 13 highlighted in the new Victorian Critical Minerals Roadmap, released on Monday.
Barley grown on Avonbank's rehabilitated test pit was monitored through the 2021 and 2022 growing seasons and returned a yield "similar or higher ... than in the unmined areas", the state government says.
